Chile lidera la región en el ránking global de Desarrollo Humano

El país se ubica en el lugar 41 del listado anual del Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Desarrollo

The HDI of Latin America and the Caribbean fell by almost half in the last five years compared with growth between 1990 and 2000. This was a greater drop than in all other regions except the Arab states .

Thus published today by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP ) through the Global Human Development Report 2014 .

Chile is among the countries which have a very high level of human development. It is located at No. 41 in the world rankings and first in Latin America and the Caribbean , followed by Cuba ( 44 in the ranking HDI value of 0.815 ) and Argentina ( 49 in the ranking with HDI value of 0.808 ) and Uruguay ( 50 in the ranking HDI value of 0.790 ) .
